We look forward to welcoming you to Eatons’ for the 2020 season. Covid-19 has changed so much for all of us, but what has not changed is the wide open spaces and beautiful scenery. Due to public health guidelines and our efforts to make your experience as safe and enjoyable as possible, changes have been made to our normal operating procedures.
Please note there is an inherent risk to exposure to Covid-19 in any location where other people are present. Before traveling to the Ranch, if you do not feel well or believe you could have been exposed to Covid-19 please stay home. During your travels to the Ranch if you do not feel well, have symptoms or believe you could have been exposed to Covid-19 please contact us immediately before arriving at the Ranch. We must all work together to provide a safe healthy experience for everyone.
Screening: We ask that guests self-quarantine before traveling to the Ranch. All employees will have their temperature taken every morning. While we will not be requiring temperature screenings for our guests, we strongly urge all of you to check your temperatures daily to help us keep you, our staff and the Ranch family that lives here as safe as possible.
Masks: We do not require guest to wear masks while they are here, but masks will be available for you and we encourage you to bring your own. All of our staff will be required to wear masks during all close contact with guests.
Cleaning: We will be following all CDC, State and County Health recommendations on cleaning and sanitation of rooms, our facilities and commonly touched areas. We have been following the examples from the Marriott Cleaning Program, which has been recommended by the CDC. We have all the proper cleaning products and devices and will continue to stay current of any changes in the guidelines. The Ranch will have hand sanitizing stations throughout the buildings and bottles of sanitizer will be in every cabin. We are still offering daily housekeeping. You can choose not to have this service and just have clean towels provided daily.
Office: The Ranch Office will be open 8:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday and from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday. The coffee shop and gift shop will be open but we will have to limit the number of people in those areas.
Check-In: Before arrival, you will be e-mailed your reservation information along with an e-sign waiver/release form. Since we are adding many steps to our daily cleaning your cabin will be available by 3pm on the day of your arrival. We cannot allow early check-in at this time. When you arrive at the ranch we ask that you stay in/at your car until we meet with you. With the limited space in the office it is easy for it to become crowded.
Check-Out: Guests can schedule a time to come in and check out in person or we can e-mail you a copy of your paid invoice using the credit card information we have on file. We ask that you remember that check out time is 11. We are not allowing any late checkouts at this time.
Meals: Our dining room will have limited seating to follow the current guidelines and social distancing requirements. We will be offering outside dining as well, with limited seating and guests can request to go meals and pick them up in the dining room. With the current guidelines, we will not be serving any meals buffet style. Learn more about Meals at Eatons.
Horseback Riding: Horseback riding will take place at normal times. However, in order to limit the number of people in the barn area at one time, horses will be ready for riders in groups of 10 or by family groups in 10 minute intervals. We will have clearly marked waiting areas. We ask you to wait in those areas until a Wrangler comes and gets you and/or your family. Upon returning to the barn, to avoid too many people dismounting at once we will have markings clearly displayed where people must wait until we can dismount. Again, we ask that you remember to keep your distance from other groups while out riding and upon your return to the barn. All reins and saddles will be wiped down before and after your ride. Learn more about Horseback Riding at Eatons.
Apartment Bar: The Apartment Bar will be open from 4:00 pm-10:00 pm with limited inside and outside seating. Packaged liquor can be purchased in the office during regular hours or in the Apartment Bar during regular hours.
Activities and Services: Due to Covid-19 the only activity will be horseback riding. There will be no children’s program, Friday night dances, and Wednesday or Saturday cook-outs at Stanley Camp, breakfast rides, dinner rides, Monday night cocktail party, and complimentary beer and wine from 5:00-6:00 pm. There will be no archery, trap shooting, over-night pack trips or guided fishing offered. Learn more about our Activities at Eatons.
Pool: The pool will be open but we ask that you follow social distancing guidelines. There will be touch-free hand sanitizing station located at the gate. We will not be able to open the hot tub this summer due to the current guidelines.
Transportation: Airport transportation will not be available. Transportation to and from Sheridan for town trips will also not be available.
Post Staying With Us: After leaving the Ranch and arriving home, if you contract Covid within two (2) weeks of being here please notify us immediately. If you were to contract Covid within two weeks of being here then staff and other guests here during your stay could have been exposed.
It should go without saying, but we are taking the coronavirus risk very seriously at Eatons’ Ranch and we are all doing our best to ensure your safety along with our own. Some of these plans that we have made may be change due to the ever-changing landscape. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you might have. We must all work together to take good care of ourselves and one another. Stay safe and we will see you all soon!
