Tales from the early days in Sheridan Wyoming can be traced back to 1800s and weave stories that are filled with western flair. Sheridan serves as the ancestral homeland to the Crow people and is not far from Custer’s Last Stand and other famous battlefields. Main Street used to house bars, brothels and inns for travelers to visit after the Burlington & Missouri railroads stopped in town, and many of those buildings are still standing today. Not only is the area rich with history, but it is also filled with art galleries and museums that show off every aspect of western living. But if we are being honest, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what our amazing backyard has to offer!
There is so much to do and explore in the Sheridan area, that it can be a little bit overwhelming. But have no fear, we’re here to help you make the most of you historic Wyoming dude ranch vacation!
