Begin the journey and explore all there is to do:
Swimming Pool and Natural Waters: Stay cool on your Wyoming summer vacation! The Ranch’s 40 X 70-foot pool is within walking distance from your cabin. In addition to the swimming pool, guests also enjoy heading down to the creek to relax and cool down in the calming waters. There is also a secluded swimming hole with small water falls less than a mile into the canyon that’s worth exploring!
Exercise Room: The exercise room is located in Pike #13, 14, and 15. There you will find a treadmill, elliptical machine, dumbbell weights, stability balls and mats for floor work and stretching.
Fishing: Guests can fly fish in the pristine mountain waters of Wolf Creek, other nearby streams and rivers, or Eatons’ has a small stocked lake down on the range with row boats and fishing gear for use. Our Wyoming dude ranch offers experts as well as novices the chance to catch rainbows, brookies, browns and large-mouth bass. You can bring your own equipment or use our gear and find flies and tackle in our Wolf Creek Fly Shop. Eatons’ also offers a fly fishing excursion on the property down Wolf Creek Canyon, just ask at the desk. For guided day trips off the Ranch, we recommend Kingfishers Lodge in Ft. Smith, MT (1 1/2 hours from Wolf). For more information, please visit their website: www.bighornkingfisher.com. We also recommend Fly Shop of the Big Horns in Sheridan, WY for guided trips.
Other Fun and Entertainment: Wranglers frequently gather at Gentry Field (the Ranch rodeo grounds) for jackpot team roping or just for a little practice and fun. There’s also expansive green lawns at Eatons’ for ball games, volleyball, frisbee, horseshoes, and relaxing on your Wyoming summer vacation. There is a weekly dance in Howard Hall (the recreation building), a karaoke night, and other evening activities throughout the week. During the rest of the week Howard Hall is the center of activity for the young set. The Main House provides the perfect setting for various social gatherings or to play cards and board games, and more. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi for guests to use. The Apartment bar located in the Main House is open daily from 4:00-10:00pm. The ranch also offers one complimentary beer glass of wine during happy hour every evening in the Apartment Bar from 5-6pm.
